The Effects of Global Warming
Global temperatures are on the rise. Many scientists and ecosystem experts believe that the gases from many activities (mainly the burning of fuels) released into the atmosphere are making earth a warmer place. Gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide have heat-trapping abilities, holding in more and more of the sun's heat as they increase.
